Annette Tatum was one of our first clients after opening the agency in 2003, and we are proud to say she is still one of our most valued clients. I was enamored with the House and Little House brands and I had visited her flagship stores on Montana, in Santa Monica. I decided one morning that I had to connect with her and work with her, I just knew we would be a dynamo duo…and as they say the rest is history! We have worked with Annette to shape her brands for licensing, developing numerous presentations to showcase the opportunity her brands represent to possible partners.
Our goal has always been to develop a portfolio of licensed products to complement her proprietary product lines for both the House and Little House brands and business. Over the course of our relationship we have licensed many categories for the Little House brand from fabric, stationery and scrapbooking, to baby slings and wraps, rocking chairs, room accessories, lighting, rugs, and wall art. And, for the House brand we have licensed fabric, home accessories, lighting, rugs and even publishing.
We also worked with Annette to develop and sell a book concept based on her amazing design vision, and September 2009 marked the launch of Annette’s debut title, The Well Dressed Home (published by Clarkson Potter)…which has empowered home owners around the world to think differently about their home decor.
And recently we secured a deal with Gelaskins for Annette to develop a line of stylish phone, tablet and computer covers. We think they look fab!
We have also collaborated on press, PR and social media all in support of building successful, long-term revenue generating brands for Annette’s business.
